The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, even surprising us with a gift when they learned of our engagement. The cottage itself is a high standard conversion, offering a secluded and private oasis in the owners' grounds, complete with a patio garden and private parking. the accommodation was warm, inviting, and beautifully furnished, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Buchanan Castle and Lake of Menteith. The location of the cottage is ideal for those who enjoy hiking, with many trails located in close proximity. the University of Glasgow, Stirling, and Glasgow Botanic Gardens are just a short drive away, offering ample opportunities for sightseeing and exploration. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the cottage, from the well-equipped bathroom with a luxurious shower to the cozy sitting area with a flat-screen TV. the thoughtful touches such as free toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, and plush towels made our stay even more comfortable.
